DRINK
MORE WATER
Drink more water!
Our body is made up of about 60-70% water and it is recommended to drink between 6 to 8 glasses per day to keep it hydrated and flush out toxins.
Start your day with hot water and fresh lemon. It will give your body a little time to wake up before having breakfast.

LESS ALCOHOL & CAFFEINATED DRINKS
In the same spirit as drinking more water to keep the body hydrated, drinking alcohol and caffeinated drinks will dehydrate it.
‘If you drink more than four caffeinated drinks a day, gradually cut back for a week or two before detoxing so you don’t experience withdrawal symptoms, including headaches and irritability,’ says Dr Sarah Brewer.
EAT
LESS PROCESSED FOODS
Eating less meat, dairy and sugar will help your digestive system to get back on track.
If you don’t want to remove meat from your diet, keep to fish and skinned chicken.
LESS SALT
We tend to consume way too much salt. It causes bloating and hypertension. A diet high in salt is also a major risk factor for heart disease and osteoporosis. Plus, it can make you consume more calories!!
Especially berries, pears and apples. But stay away from fruit juices which contain a high level of sugar. Try to eat seasonal and organic foods only.
MORE ESSENTIAL FATS
Found in raw nuts, seeds, avocado and Chia Seeds (full of Omega 3 and protein). They will slow down your digestion and give you more energy.
MORE WHOLEGRAINS
Found in oatmeal, brown rice, quinoa. They are high in fibre and provide energy.
MOVE
YOUR BODY!
Try to move it everyday if you can. It can be as simple and easy as a quick walk after lunch or dinner and as hard chore as boxing. Any movement will have a positive impact.
