Yes you may wonder what “local” really means? Do Spain, Italy, or France fall into the local category?
Coming from the US, 2 hours of driving or even flying will get you at best to the next state and when someone refers to ‘local’ they literally mean ‘down the street’, or the next neighborhood at most. Here, given the size of each country, one by virtue of just a hop and a skip will find themselves in a different country! To me since I moved here, the definition has expanded to anything within 3 hour-flight or drive from Zurich!
So this is what I mean by ‘local’!
