“What people do for money? Some Joint Ventures.” Christian Jankowski developed this concept for Manifesta 11 which focuses on different types of work and their relation to art. The curation dates are June 11 to September 18 in Zurich.
The focal point of Manifesta 11 is the Pavillon of Reflections, a floating platform on Lake Zurich. It is fully loaded – from a large-scale LED screen, theatre seating, a swimming area to a bar, the pavillon provides a heaven for dialogue and reflection on the artworks.
I had the privilege to be present at both the press conference and opening ceremony held a couple of days ago in Zurich.
